Keri Kinsey, LCSW-S

Grounded, relational, and collaborative,
I help people heal, grow, and navigate life’s transitions with clarity and compassion—whether in therapy, clinical supervision, or through the collaborative divorce process.

About Me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director at Moonstone Counseling, where my work centers around helping people reconnect with their inner resilience, strengthen relationships, and find steadier footing through life’s challenges.

My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative, creating space for clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their own growth. I’m trained in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and I specialize in working with grief and loss, trauma, chronic illness, and significant life transitions.

In addition to my clinical work, I provide supervision for LMSWs pursuing LCSW licensure. My supervision style is curious, transparent, and supportive. I view supervision as a collaborative space for reflection, professional growth, and shared learning.

I’m also developing my role as a neutral mental health professional in the collaborative divorce process, an interdisciplinary model that brings together two attorneys, a financial specialist, and a mental health professional to help couples resolve conflicts outside of court. I’m drawn to this approach because it aligns with my belief that even in times of separation, people deserve the opportunity to move forward with dignity, integrity, and respectful communication.

Across all of these roles, my guiding values are connection, compassion, and integrity—and a deep respect for the resilience that emerges when people are supported in meaningful ways.

  • All of us have unique capacities for wisdom, strength, and resilience. Life circumstances like trauma, major transitions, or broken relationships can sometimes obscure those capacities and leave us feeling isolated, confused, or stuck. My approach to therapy is relational and grounded in creating safe, trusting connections that support each person’s goals and overall sense of well-being.

I work with a wide range of clients and have a particular passion for supporting individuals navigating grief and loss, trauma, divorce, and chronic illness. I’m also EMDR-trained and trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) , which can be powerful tools for healing and integration. These modalities, combined with a warm and collaborative therapeutic style, allow me to meet clients where they are and support meaningful growth and change.

  • I came to social work as a second vocation after a career in public education, and I’ve been in the field since 2011. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including public schools, the child welfare system, and hospice and palliative care. I now serve as the Clinical Director and a psychotherapist at Moonstone Counseling, where I have the privilege of supporting both clients and clinicians.

Some of my most rewarding professional moments have come through mentorship and consultation with social work interns and colleagues, which inspired me to offer clinical supervision for LMSWs working toward their LCSW licensure. My supervision style is relational, supportive, and curious. I value transparency, vulnerability, and humor, and I see supervision as a space for shared learning and growth.

  • I’m drawn to collaborative divorce work because it aligns with my belief that even during life’s hardest transitions, it’s possible to move forward with dignity, integrity, and respect.

In a collaborative divorce, each spouse retains an attorney, and the couple works with a neutral financial professional and a neutral mental health professional as part of a team. Together, the team helps families resolve issues outside of court through structured, cooperative meetings.

The neutral mental health professional plays a facilitative role— supporting communication, helping manage emotional dynamics, and assisting the team in staying focused and constructive. My background in relational dynamics, conflict navigation, and interdisciplinary teamwork makes this a natural next step in my professional path.
